Mary’s Place is a registered 501(c)(3) organization that provides safe, inclusive shelter and services that support women, children and families on their journey out of homelessness. Since 1999, Mary’s Place has helped hundreds of women and families move out of homelessness into more stable situations. Across five emergency family shelters in King County, they keep struggling families together, inside, and safe when they have no place else to go, providing resources, housing and employment services, community, and hope.
This campaign will provide Mary’s Place Day Shelter members with the following:
- Fair weather survival items such as hand warmers, ponchos, and socks
- Basic hygienic products such as hair combs and ties, toothbrushes and toothpaste
- Shampoo and conditioner products specifically formulated for the care of black hair types
